Last weekend Nicole came to Bangkok for the weekend. Was good to catch up with her after about 2 1/2 years....oh for those of you who dun know, Nicole is a friend from high school who is working as an AYAD in Laos. So, in the end we only had a short time to catch up because she was held up at her appointment. But, we did have tinme to go to this awesome buffet in central world plaza....had pizza and pasta which was made fresh and was fantastic, espeically the squid ink pasta! And the lasagne was also good.....so after our fix of farang food, we went to take some pictures at the christmas display. Here are two shots I took earlier in the day of the make-shift beer garden that has been put up for the international beer festival. It looks so permanent, but actually is only temporary. The next day we went to Zense which is a bar on the 17th floor of the central world plaza building Had the most amazing view and great cocktails. They had a torch so you could read the menu. I hada white chocolate margerita which was really really good.
