Tueday is a great day to eat snacks at Tha Prachan

Tuesday.....wake up, iron shirt, pay rent, have a chat (in Thai whoot whoot) to nice lady at the office whilst paying rent, run out of Thai vocabularly so end conversation with a thank you and promptly rush to the bus realising Im going to miss my lunch hour.....no 123, 124 or 201....lunch hour going.....James getting anxious. 123 finally comes, internal rejoicing!
Lunch involves green chicken curry and vegetables....noting today that the right hand curry shop has bought new plastic bowls because the colour is different today, and is a design I've never seen before. Ethnic groups, as good as can be expected....hmph. BUT, after the day gets good! I meet James for som Thai practice and afternoon tea eating. I asked him to come show me what all the various forms of food on sale at Tha Prachan are because I always see them but never know how to order them or what exactly they are. So, we got some kind of fried dough ball....ok, still not sure what it is, but it is sweet and tasty! Also got pork sausage, fried squid and some kind of fried prok on bread.....so so good! Then made a 2nd attempt to find the garlic bread...again got sugar butter bread...:( Then got kiwi shake from campus and sat by the oval to eat it all! Practiced Thai as well, but became more interested in figuring out what the fried dough balls were.....couldn't, so gave up thinking and ate them all.
